How Are Navy Enlistment Bonuses Paid?
The Navy pays out its annual installments on October 1, which is the start of the fiscal year. The other branches of the service pay their enlistment and reenlistment bonuses on the anniversary of the date you received your initial installment.
Do you get your enlistment bonus right away?
You won't receive your Army enlistment bonus immediately. The Army needs to make sure you're committed to your role in serving the country and that you're not just in it for the money. Once you complete basic training and career-specific training, you'll receive your first payment of $10,000.

How are enlistment bonuses paid out?
Bonuses are paid in Lump Sum, at the time of re-enlistment. Member must have been separated for more than 90 days, but less than 4 years.

How long does it take to receive enlistment bonus?
The initial payment of your Selective Re-enlistment Bonus (SRB) should take no longer than 30 days from the date of re-enlistment. If, after 30 days, you have not received your payment, you should contact your servicing finance officer, career planner, or admin or personnel office.
